This propels the Theatre’s revival forward, eliminating the need for risky demolition and excavation under the state listed heritage building and now offers many benefits.
Importantly, our proposed development on 4-6 Perkins Street will enhance the Victoria Theatre revival with these operational and community benefits:
Ground floor – 4-6 Perkins Street will host a new entry, box office, bar and amenities for the Victoria Theatre
First floor – a developed 4-6 Perkins Street will include a new flexible studio theatre and rehearsal space (100 seats)
Theatre Lane – a new full-length awning will be installed improving access and activating the space
Extended Perkins Street frontage - now reaching across two buildings we will help complete the street with awnings and public amenities including a cafe bar in entry foyer
